STL Design Studios
Iaso is a physical therapy and rehabilitation center for patient’s ages 12- 25. The center uses design and function to establish an empathic and comforting zone for patients that have suffered a physical injury to recover and regain control over their body. It includes open areas for public therapy sessions, private therapy rooms, and lounge space where family and friends can be included in therapy sessions.

The center includes areas for monitored physical labor training, mental depression, injury recovery, and total body health. There are also spaces that cater to physical health education, mental and physical recovery, as well as space for strengthening support networks. The space contains inspirational artwork based on physical activities such as gymnastics, general sports and free movement. Each room has a custom made engraved sign with universal function symbols.
